I like your pictures, now what happens?
Send me an email with your contact number and when it’s best to call you.
Organising a place to first meet
I’m happy to travel to you. Most of the first meetings are usually after work or at weekends.
A quiet bar or cafe work best so that we can sit and go through the details you have planned so far.
You’re happy after the first meeting now what?
If all is good then I’ll send you a contract to sign. It will detail all the plans you have made so far and is really a way of confirming that I have all the correct details. You will have a copy to keep and one with a self addressed envelope to return to me with a deposit of £50 which will then confirm your day. We’ll then organise a time to visit the venue.
Visiting the venues
I always visit the venues with you if possible to go through all eventualities. Even if I’ve previously worked there.
Rainy day scenarios, guests with any mobility issues and any other issues that may need resolving before the day.
It’s a nice time to meet you again and take some test shots also.
On the day
I always arrive at least an hour before the arranged time. I do not do more than one wedding a day no matter how long you have me booked for. I will check over the venue to make sure there have been no changes since we last visited and if you have asked me to I’ll either photograph your preparations, guests arriving or both.
Then it’s all go and the fun starts.
I provide an extra hour for free in case of the day over running and never pack up my gear without letting you both know first. I will always ask if there’s anything you think may have been missed before I go.
I then return home and back up all the images that evening/night/early morning.
After your wedding
I now spend 1 to 2 days editing and making your pictures look amazing.
Your pictures will be loaded onto a viewing gallery on my website which will be password protected.
Once you’re happy with all the images you can then forward the link to friends and family and can have it password protected or not, whatever suits.
You then receive a set of the images in black and white and colour onto disk.
A set of 7×5 prints are provided also.
This process can take up to 2 weeks.
Copyright of images
Once you receive your disk and prints I am happy for you to do what you like with them.
The only stipulation I have is the resale of the images.
They cannot be sold on to any other publication/website. Any sale of the images would require me receiving a percentage of the sale.
Wedding Albums
I have spent a long time trying different album manufacturers and to make it simple I use one supplier who is based in Japan.
From a design background I personally feel that these are the best on the market and are very customisable.
The process of building an album starts with you selecting 60 to 70 images.
I then create a digital layout for you to agree or disagree with. Make as many changes as you wish as you need to be 100% happy with the outcome.
Once you’re happy with the look I’ll then send you a printed copy of the layout for you to finally approve.
If all is good then it goes off to print which can take up to 6 weeks to produce.
Then I’ll either courier or hand deliver the album to you.
